The Happy Days Festival came and went very quickly and what a fabulous weekend of live music it was in blazing sunshine. The ‘wifey’ Nicola Hume and myself hosted this weekend at Imber Court in East Molesey with artists including: Dawn Penn, 80’s R‘n’B Band Loose Ends, The Real Thing, The Fatback Band, the unrivalled Soul Diva: Jocelyn Brown, the high-pitched Scottish ‘Pocket-Rocket’ Jimmy Somerville and the Reggae legends (Ali Campbell’s) UB40 to name but a few.

It really is saying something when thousands of people cheer you when you walk on stage and the response was fantastic and simply confirmed what I already knew: that I love my job!!!
If you came along, thank you for making it such an amazing weekend. My friends from the Radio Jackie family all had a blast and the organisers said it was the best year yet: THANKS!!!
Can’t wait to do it again…see you all again for Happy Days 2014!
