This Sunday, I’ll be hosting for the third consecutive year, the Battersea Dogs & Cats Hone Old Windsor Fun Day.

There’ll be a range if fun class to either watch and participate in, from Agility to Golden Oldie, Handsomest Dog to the fantastic Staffie Parade.

It goes without saying that it’s an absolute joy once again to be presiding over this event on association with my old friends from Radio St Helier.

One of the Home’s celebrity Patrons and famous Children’s Author: Dame Jacqueline Wilson will be on hand to judge the grand finale class: Best Battersea Dog plus there’ll be even more stalls from the old(the Tombola and Plant Stalls) to the new (2014 Staffie Campaign and Fostering)

This year promises to be the best year yet with entertainment coming from Magic Mickey, a huge new bouncy castle, facepainting and many more traditional fairground games.

Why is Battersea such a great charity? Well last year they regimes 5,386 animals; that’s an average of 7 dogs and 7 cats every day!!

Battersea usually has around 400 dogs and 250 cats across it’s three sites in Old Windsor, Brands Hatch and Battersea (of course).

Finally, last year 44% of dogs and 47% of cats were strays….
…not to get too serious, but they do an amazing job everyday of the year!!

So come along and join for one fun day in Windsor!!! Here’s the address:
