How fast has 2016 gone?!! Guy Fawkes Night is this weekend once again and falling on a Saturday, so you have to go out and check out some fireworks….I’ve a suggestion, want to see you Europe’s biggest bonfire? Want to see me hosting a whole Firework spectacular?? Then you need to head down to the 59th Annual Carshalton Fireworks bonfire night display. This event is put on by Wallington & Carshalton Round Table whose aim is to provide a safe, enjoyable and exciting event for the local community. All profits from the event are donated to local charities to further support the local community.
I’ll be on stage with Matt Taylor once again from 5pm and there’ll be live music too!! Remember, no alcohol, fireworks, sparklers or pets allowed inside the park.
The event will be held in Carshalton Park in Carshalton, Surrey.
The main entrance is on The Park Road which is off Ruskin Road. There are various other entrances around the park.
Arrive early as there will be road closures and parking restrictions in force. No disabled parking facility available.
The display starts at 7pm. However to ensure getting into the park to see the whole firework display we advise entering at least 45 minutes before the 7pm start. Buying your programmes before the event will mean you get in the park quicker as you will not have to queue. They are also cheaper when bought by Friday 6th November 2015. The price is just £5 per person up to the 4th November, and £7.50 on Saturday 5th November from the gates of the park, kids under 5 years old get in free.
Come say hi if you see me and see you down there!!
