Woof! Woof!! Woof!!!

On Sunday 8th September, I’ll be presenting The Battersea Dogs Annual Re-Union in Battersea Park and I’m inviting you and your four-legged friends to this special day our Annual Reunion and Fun Day. The free event will be full of competitions, games and activities for you, your family and your canine chums….oh and we’re promised sunshine (fingers crossed), highs of 19 degrees!

When’s it on?? 08 September 2013: 11am to 4.30pm

Where’s it on? Battersea Park, London

It’s such an important date for your doggy diary – my 3rd Annual Re-Union, but more importantly, it’s  the 19th Annual Reunion and Fun Day in Battersea Park, sponsored by Petplan.

Those with two legs can enjoy games, delicious food, stalls, dog displays and pet parades while those with four legs can take part in games such as temptation alley and our canine tombola.

So what’s happening?

Contests on the day also include prizes for waggiest tail, fancy dress and handsomest hound. Those wishing to enter should arrive early to avoid disappointment.

You can also treat yourself to something tasty such as homemade cakes, candyfloss and popcorn from a vintage confectionary cart or pick up a cake or biscuit from our dog-friendly bakery.

For children – or the young at heart – there will also be hoopla, a coconut shy, a bouncy castle and face painting.

Our event is a highlight in our calendar as we welcome back old friends and make lots of new ones as we celebrate man’s best friend.

Dog Classes

Our classes are open to all dogs of every shape and size, and there is no limit as to how many dogs you can enter – as long as that class isn’t full. Each class is £2 per dog.

I’ll be hosting in the main ring with my friends from Radio St. Helier providing the music, we have a maximum of 150 entrants per class (except for musical mats, which is limited to 20), whilst in the second ring there is a maximum of 40 entrants. Good luck!

Is your Staffie super? If so, bring them along to the Annual Reunion so they can strut their stuff. We’ll be making a special film which you and your Staffie can star in and we’ll use to spread the word about the brilliant breed. Look out for the stand and find out how you can get involved.

Battersea’s Got Talent

We’re launching our first ever Battersea’s Got Talent contest and we want to see your clever canines show off their skills. All the details on how your singing Staffies and dancing Dachshunds can join in the fun are here
