This Christmas has been calm and serene but definitely one to reflect and decompress after a monster year....the light will always shine through the darkness and we can all say: “I survived 2020”

My Mum. She turns 72 today and has kinda looked the same since 1995. She’s relentless fierce, enormously strong and even though the love of her life (my dad) has been gone for four years, she thriving in this her 50th year in England. I’m proud to call her my mum, she may drive me nuts but I love her more than life. Happy Birthday to my ageless Mum!! Xxxxx

Lockdown London to this level is coming to an end....it’s quite fitting that one of my last photos in this series goes to somewhere I started 20 years ago in June!! And then didn’t properly leave for eight years...The almighty Peter Jones Department Store, part of John Lewis). The last time I’ve seen it shut at 1pm in the afternoon was on 7/7/05 when all 26 stores had to close following those horrendous terrorist attacks. Walking the length of the Kings Road, Sloane Street, and the Knightsbridge Estate, I miss the ‘Sloane Rangers’, Lamborghinis and Double buggies and the unique bustle....

Carnaby Street and Saville Row....the places to shop and/or get a bespoke suit...the home of fashion and lifestyle retailers, unique boutiques and all things stylish...it’s a pedestrianised shopping street. No one is shopping; no one is walking...

All things Royal 👑 ...last Friday was a Bank Holiday in the UK to mark VE day and 75 years since the end of the WWII. Buckingham Palace and the Mall would normally have been crammed with 1000s of people celebrating this milestone but Lockdown London has prevented this and so many other events...however nature continues: look at these 7ft Echiums in nearby St James’s Park...

There is no Pride 2020 but I still feel Proud. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
🌈 Here in the heart of Soho, the London focal point of the LGBTQ community which I am part of. 🌈
Take away the laughter, the sound of beer bottles, the catwalk queens and the bystanders: this is what’s left.
The 🌈 remains for our NHS and keyworkers. Proud.
